BRATTLEBORO -- Classic songs of the 1930s and '40s will be the fare for the evening on the Esteyille Common on Sunday at 7 p.m. The Melodeons will play tunes from the Great American Songbook.

The Brattleboro quintet includes James Pentland, guitar, Dave Barnett, tenor saxophone, Richard Davis, clarinet, Mark Tarnacki, keyboard, and Beth Kiendl, vocals. Concertgoers may come early and bring a picnic dinner and a chair. The event is free; everyone is welcome.
