7 Colonels earn MVL lax honors

BRATTLEBORO — Brattleboro Union High School senior Jack Gagnon, who scored his 100th career goal last season against Northampton, was one of three Colonels named to a Marble Valley League First Team for lacrosse.

The other two are BUHS sophomore Elizabeth Day and BUHS junior Megyn Ayotte. They scored five and two goals respectively at the recent Rising Stars game in Middlebury that consisted of the top 40 underclassmen in the state.

Olivia Stent and Sam Cragin were given Honorable Mention after helping the Colonel girls to an 8-9 record. Brattleboro's Alex Fitch and Declan Lonergan were named to the MVL Boys Lacrosse Second Team.
