Richardson, of Spofford, N.H.,, has been a professional artist for the last 27 years and started creating portraits when she was in her early teens, expanding her repertoire from there. The art she creates varies in a wide array of subject matter, as she paints everything from portraits of people and pets, flora, landscapes and wall murals to the occasional abstract piece. She works mainly in oils and acrylics, but also enjoys working in charcoal and colored pencils.

She has participated in several juried shows, including Art on the Green and the Taste of the Coeur d'Alene (Idaho). She was also juried into the Artworks Gallery in Sandpoint, Idaho, where she participated in the gallery workings and displayed her art for many years.
