Brattleboro McDonald's hosts grand opening on Friday

Posted
BRATTLEBORO —The new look of McDonald's has arrived in Brattleboro with a rebuild of the restaurant located at 1027 Putney Rd.

In honor of the fresh look, McDonald's restaurant Owner/Operators Sal and Peter Napoli and their team are excited to invite the community to the grand re-opening starting Friday, Sept. 15. To celebrate, the restaurant will donate 10 percent of the proceeds from purchases made between Sept. 15 and 17 to Brattleboro's Green Street School — just in time for the new school year.

"We care deeply about the communities we serve, and are proud to give back to our neighbors through partnerships like this one to benefit the Green Street School" said Sal Napoli. "The renovations to our Brattleboro restaurant reflect the latest and greatest in McDonald's `Just for You' experience, and we are looking forward to re-opening the doors to our loyal guests."

"The Green Street School community is so appreciative of McDonalds and this terrific fundraising opportunity," said Green Street School Principal Mark Speno. "This donation will go directly towards enrichment opportunities for all the students of Green Street School."

The new Brattleboro restaurant will feature self-order kiosks, table service and a double-lane drive-through for faster service. For customers looking to order at their own pace, new digital self-order kiosks make easy ordering and paying for a meal. The kiosks will allow customers to browse the menu, find new options and tailor their meal just the way they want.

Customers can pay with their card directly at the self-order kiosks, print their receipt from the kiosk and pay at the cash register, or use Apple or Android Pay. Those who decide to eat in, there will be table service. When ordering, guests will receive a table number with a built-in chip that translates to the kitchen where the guest has decided to sit, so a crew member can deliver their food when it's ready. Guests can still order at the counter if they would prefer; it's up to them.

The restaurant will also be offering a number of limited-time specials to celebrate the re-opening, such as one free travel mug to the first 150 customers who make a purchase on Sept. 15 after 7 a.m. Customers can also enter to win one of the following prizes: A two-night stay at Mill Falls at the Lake in Meredith, N.H., four tickets to Screeemfest at Canobie Lake Park in Salem, N.H., and four ski passes to Waterville Valley Resort in the White Mountains.
