Chesterfield woman in serious condition after being struck by vehicle

KEENE, N.H. — A Chesterfield woman is being treated for life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in a parking lot at 881 Marlboro Road.

According to a press release from the Keene Police Department, at 1:30 a.m. on Monday, officers responded to the parking lot of Second Chance for Success to find Jennifer Caveney, 36, laying in the parking lot with obvious serious injuries. Caveney was first transported to Cheshire Medical Center before being transported by helicopter to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

Though the investigation continues, officers determined Caveney was struck by a vehicle being driven by Alysha DeJesus, 23, of Winchester. According to its website, Second Chance for Success provides transitional housing for individuals released from the local correctional facility.
