Halifax: The Halifax senior meal will be served Friday, April 20, at the Halifax Community Hall, 20 Brook Road. Serving at noon. The menu includes sausage gravy and biscuits, home fries, green beans, old-fashioned vegetable jello salad and dessert. All seniors are welcome.
Guilford: The Guilford Senior Lunch, sponsored by Senior Solutions, will take place at noon on Friday, April 20, at the Guilford Community Church. The menu includes stuffed shells, roasted vegetables, bread and pickles, with peach shortcake for dessert..A suggested donations of $3.50 is asked, $5 for others. Turkey & Biscuit
Winchester, N.H.: The Ladies Society of The United Church of Winchester is serving a Turkey 'N Gravy & Biscuit supper on Saturday, April 21, at 6 p.m. The supper is by reservation; only 60 tickets will be sold. Reserve a ticket by calling Thelma Gomarlo at 603-239-4995. Tickets are $10 for adults, and $5 for children ages 5 to 10. Menu: Turkey, Gravy, Biscuits, dressing, vegetables, cranberry sauce, pickles, beverage and dessert.
Williamsville: On Thursday, April 26, at the Williamsville Town Hall in the downstairs dining room, there will be lunch served for seniors in Williamsville and surrounding communities. The menu includes meat loaf, salad, rolls, mashed potatoes, green vegetables and apple pie. The meal is prepared at the Williamsville Town Hall kitchen by Jon Julian, owner/chef of Top of the Hill Grill, hosted by Nancy Rysz and Natalie Donovan and sponsored by Senior Solutions (Council on Aging, Inc.). The suggested donation for this meal is $3.50 for age 60 and over and $4 for under age 60. Call Nancy Rysz at 348-7729 for information, reservations and any takeout orders you may wish to place.
West Brattleboro: West Brattleboro Baptist Church's next outreach luncheon is scheduled for noon to 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, at 979 Western Ave. The menu includes roasted pork loin, rice pilaf, coleslaw, cinnamon apple sauce, Italian bread, dessert. The meal is free and open to the public.
