Early Education Services: Teddy Bear Teas set for May
Children are invited to bring their favorite teddy bears (other favorite stuffed animals are welcome of course) for a "Teddy Bear Tea." Adults, children, and bears will meet staff, listen to a story or two, visit with other families and do a craft. Special teddy bear cookies (made by RSVP Volunteers and Brattleboro Union High School students) and other snacks will be provided. These snacks are made possible through a donation from the Mary Meyer Corporation.
Teddy Bear Teas are designed to encourage an open and trusting partnership between home and school. They also are a chance for families to connect with their community. The Teddy Bear Teas are co-sponsored by Early Education Services and Windham County elementary schools.
At Halifax Elementary on Monday, May 1, at 1 p.m. In Putney on Wednesday, May 3, at 9:30 a.m. At Dover Elementary on Thursday, May 4 at 9:10 a.m. In Jamaica on Thursday, May 4, at 1:30 p.m. At Guilford Elementary on Friday, May 5, at 1 p.m.
At Wardsboro Elementary, on Monday, May 8, at 10 a.m. In Marlboro on Friday, May 12, at 1 p.m.
At Vernon Elementary on Monday, May 15, at 10:30 a.m. At NewBrook in Newfane on Thursday, May 18, at 1 p.m.
At Academy School, Brattleboro, Tuesday, May 23, starts with an All School Sing at 8:40 a.m., followed by tea at 9:10 a.m. At Oak Grove in Brattleboro on Wednesday, May 24, starting with an all school sing at 8:35 a.m. followed by a tea at 9:05 a.m. At Green Street School, Brattleboro, on Thursday, May 25, starting with an all school sing at 8:35 a.m., followed by the tea at 9:05 a.m.
At Twin Valley Elementary on Wednesday, May 24, at 1 p.m. At Dummerston Elementary on Thursday, May 25, at 1:30 p.m.
In Townshend on Tuesday, May 30, at 1:30 p.m.
