BFUHS dram club presents 'Beauty and the Beast'

WESTMINSTER — The Bellows Falls Union high school drama club presents their spring musical, "Beauty and the Beast" on Friday, March 24 at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, March 25 at 2 and 7 p.m..

"Beauty and the Beast" tells the story of a cold-hearted prince who has been magically transformed into an unsightly creature as punishment for his selfish ways. To revert back into his true human form, the Beast must first earn the love of a bright, beautiful young woman whom he has imprisoned in his enchanted castle before it is too late. The BFUHS Drama Club production of Beauty and the Beast is directed by; Katy Emond, Orchestra Director: Nick Pelton, Choral Director: Rich Smith, Stage Manager: Leah Barry, Choregrapher: Matt Burke. Cast List includes, Assistant Principal, John Broadley as the narrator, Enchantress/ Old Woman: Madi Joy, Lyrical Dancers: Grace Cavenaugh & Dani Marchica, Belle: Ellie Guyon, Beast: Paulryan Chipman and Alden Parmelee, Gaston: Jackson Purdy, Maurice: Simon Bupp-Chickering, Cogsworth: Ira Richardson, Mrs. Potts: Grace Thompson Lumiere: Emily Wunderle, Chip: Lia Clark, Babette: Andreea Pasare and Zoe Schemm, Madame De La Grande Bouche: Dakoda Carter, Lefou: Andrew Malshuck and Madi Joy, Monsieur D'arque: Zoe Schemm, Silly Girls: Olivia Lauricella, Jessica Roberts, Kylie Comstock.

Tickets are $5, available at the door at Bellows Falls Union High School or in advance at Village Square Booksellers in Bellows Falls.
