Glove, Sweat & Cheers

BRATTLEBORO — On July 8 at the 23rd annual Glove, Sweat, & Cheers Women's Softball Tournament fundraiser, regional teams rose to the challenge to support the work of the Women's Freedom Center.

Players exhibited their tough, competitive spirit as the teams vied for top honors in the double elimination tournament, resulting in titles for Quenneville Trucking (C Division) and Guilford Auto (D Division).

Other top contenders included runner-ups Windham OBG (C) and the Persistahs (D), and bronze medalists Joe's Girls (C) and Corse's Excavating (D). The Crossroads and Mobil Misfits teams fiercely held their own in the lively tournament, which benefits the local domestic violence shelter and program.
