All the faculty teach at all the levels which means that at SVDF one has the unique opportunity of having access to dance educators at the top of their field even if it is their first time in a classroom. Additionally, SVDF loves and promotes alternative and tribal dance genres. This year the festival has classes in sambe, belly dance, African, country swing, improvisation, Israeli contemporary, moving with your chi, rainbow tribe, making political dances, socially conscious choreography, hot in heels and many more.

For the first time ever, SVDF is offer a yoga and restoration track for those who's movement preference is yoga. At all the time slots there is yoga, pilates, restoration and other fitness style courses. SVDF has created this curated track or you can make your own schedule. In addition to a yoga track there is also curated tracks in dance newbie, pro track, dance fest summer, world dance and more.

Attendees can choose from several different festival passes. Every pass allows attendees to see performances and take classes. The Full Immersion Pass allowing people to take two to four classes/day and see two gala performances and all the informal performances and community events that they can drink in (on a first come first serve basis). Also offered is a three-day and one-day version of this same pass, allowing people to get the full festival experience in whatever time they have. Another popular option is the dance dabbler which gives people access to one class/day and all the performances. This is a fantastic option for people who want to come and enjoy the dance, but, maybe don't want to take tons of classes. One can take one day of classes, full immersion, just the weekend or dabble with few classes and lots of performances.
