Letters: Your Thanks
The Wardsboro History Group Photo Committee would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank The Windham Foundation of Grafton for the gift of a grant recently received.
We are all very thankful that The Windham Foundation believes in and supports our project of developing old glassplate photos. We meet once a week to develop, identify and discuss the old photos.
This has been an ongoing project of local historians interested in preserving old photos for over thirty years. To date many photo collections have been finished or a partial collection has been finished, including Vaile of Londonderry, Chapman of Windham, Thayer of South Newfane and many smaller collections.
We also present slide shows of many of the photographs to interested groups. And viewers have helped identify places and people that our group could not.
We can be reached at PO Box 33, Wardsboro, VT 05355, if anyone has old glassplates to be developed or has an interest in our project.

United Way of Windham County wishes to thank the 64 medical and non-medical volunteers who made this year's seventh annual Adult Dental Care Day a huge success. Over 65 local area residents received dental care they needed on May 6.
Thank you to the Brattleboro ELKS #1499 and Doug Emery for providing our triage site at which Dr. Lance Miller and others screened participants. A big thank you to the participating dental offices and staffs: Connecticut Valley Oral Surgery, Professional Dental Care, Dr. Suzanne West, and West River Family Dental.
We would like to give a round of applause to Chris Martel who helped transport many of the participants to the dental offices!
We would also like to thank Vermont 2-1-1 and Rescue, Inc. for their support, as well as financial and in-kind supporters Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, C & S Wholesale Grocers, Deerfield Valley Rotary Club, Northeast Delta Dental, and The Agnes Lindsay Trust.

Thank you so much for all of the love and support shown to our family since the passing of our father, grandfather, great grandfather, John MacArthur. The wonderful gathering of friends, family and community on a cold and rainy May day was such a testament to the unique gifts which John shared with the world. Your notes, letters, reminisces, stories, music, poems, songs, flowers and cookies meant so much to us.
Thank you all,
The MacArthur Family
