Manning, Donaghue go off at Rec

BRATTLEBORO — Devon Manning made nine shots from downtown and scored 38 points in Waterfront's 90-79 decision over Vermont Pressure Wash Painting in a recent men's league basketball game at the Gibson-Aiken Center.

Adam Newton added 24 points for the winners. Scott Edwards scored 25, including six trifectas, to pace VPWP.

Danny Donaghue erupted for 33 points as Dixon's Painters outscored Putney Co-Op 87-82. Matt Leblanc led the Co-Op with 21 points.

The division leaders are currently D-1's Putney Co-Op (5-2), Green Mountain Creamery and Walker Farm each at 4-1 in D-2, and Rice Appraisal (4-1) in D-3.
