Officials Recruitment Fair is April 1

BURLINGTON — The Vermont Principals Association and the various officials associations will be conducting an Officials Recruitment Fair at Patrick Gymnasium on the UVM campus from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 1.

High school officiating help is needed in baseball, basketball, cheerleading and dance, field hockey, football, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, track and field, volleyball, and wrestling.

There is currently a shortage of officials in Vermont. If you are interested in becoming an official, you are encouraged to show up at UVM on April 1.


WESTMINSTER — Purple Pride Night at Bellows Falls Union High School will be held this evening at 6:30. The unveiling of the state championship banners for football, field hockey and boys track will be presented in the gymnasium, with athletes wearing their state championship jackets.
