Payne-Meyer, Primus deliver on court

BRATTLEBORO — Tristan Primus rained home eight 3-pointers and finished with 36 points to propel the New England Ballers to a 92-65 rout of Chadwick Law Office in a men's league basketball contest on Sunday at the Gibson-Aiken Center.

Sunday's other top scorers were: Walker Farm's Oakley Payne-Meyer (34 points), Brattleboro Subaru's Corey Bauer (31), and Putney Co-Op's Soren Pelz-Walsh (28). Southern Vermont Painting's Todd Pacheco, Darren Pacheco, Chad Pacheco, Isaac Earl, Joel Porter and Seth Christmas limited DMI/Marina to just 52 points.

In Friday's action, Steve Kapral scored 17 points to lead Rice Appraisal to a 74-56 decision over GS Precision. In the other showdown, Lynden Bunker poured in 33 points as Southern Vermont Sprinkler downed GS Coatings 76-62.
