Pre-Fest Fest — the kick-off event to this year's Green River Festival!

GREENFIELD, MASS. — The sounds of summer in Franklin County are alive with music, as Greenfield prepares to once again be the host city to the Green River Festival. This year, the Progress Partnership, a downtown business group, would like to invite you to participate in a new kick-off event — The Pre-Fest Fest! This free event features great live music from area bands plus fabulous local food and beer from top Greenfield restaurants and Franklin County brewers!

Staged at the Town of Greenfield's Energy Park for the evening of Thursday, July 13, from 5 to 9 p.m., this fun, family-friendly, outdoor experience includes food from Mesa Verde, Hope and Olive, Magpie Woodfired Pizzeria, the Brass Buckle, Bart's Ice Cream and local beer and mead from the People's Pint, Lefty's Brewing, Artisan Beverage, Brick and Feather, and Honest Weight! All this and a roster of live music from great regional bands Trailer Park, Colorway, and The Fawns!

This event is co-sponsored by The Crossroads Cultural District, Franklin Community Co-operative, The Enthusiast, The Greenfield Gallery, The Greenfield Savings Bank, and other well known downtown businesses. Come join us for a wonderful evening of Franklin County favorites, right in the heart of downtown Greenfield! Free bike valet parking at Energy Park will provided.
