Rock Voices is Back!

BRATTLEBORO — Director Tony Lechner once again presents Rock Voices, the area's only community rock chorus, for a warm winter evening of rock and pop classics like you've never heard them before. The concert will take place at Brattleboro's Centre Congregational Church, located at 193 Main St., on Saturday, at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

This winter concert features hits from the `60s right up to today, including songs by the Beatles, Dusty Springfield, Carole King, Paul Simon, Queen, Talking Heads, Peter Gabriel, Amy Winehouse, and Adele.

Rock Voices is backed up by a professional four-piece band whose talented musicians all have local roots: Ross Bellenoit (guitar), Dan Leary (bass), Carrie Ferguson (keyboards), and David Tallarida (drums). Add to that the harmonies of Lechner's arrangements sung by a 100+ voice choir, and you are in for a real treat. A 50/50 raffle will be held as a benefit for the Chester Vietnam Veterans of America Warhorse Program.

Tickets are going fast, so please order them right away from choir members, or online from Brown Paper Tickets. Tickets will also be available at the door. Admission prices are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, $8 for students. Children 12 and under are admitted free of charge.

Rock Voices represents the best of southern Vermont and the greater Pioneer Valley: a sense of community, a love of music, and a desire to share their joy and talents with others. But be warned — once you listen to this lively choir in person, you might find yourself signing up to join them next time around!
