'The Wizard of Oz' puppetry at the park

BRATTLEBORO — The Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department presents The Puppet People "The Wizard of Oz," at the Living Memorial Park Rotary Theater on Friday, at 10:30 a.m.

Join The Puppet People as they follow the yellow brick road to The Emerald City and beyond in the magical Land of Oz. See Dorothy, The Scarecrow, The Tinman and The Cowardly Lion learn about home, courage, heart and smarts! This puppet fantasy features marionettes, shadow puppets, rod puppets, a large parade puppet and more!

The show is free and Day Care Groups are welcome to attend. For more information, call 802-254-5808. For a complete listing/description of events, visit brattleboro.org. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at the Nelson Withington Skating Facility.
