Town Schools Theatre winter play
Laura Bliss, NEYT photographerNew England Youth Theatre presents "Grimleys, Brimleys and the Great British Feud of 1826," on Friday through Sunday, Jan. 20, 21 and 22. Written by Jonny Flood and directed by Jonny Flood, Ian Lewis-Slammon, Shannon Ward and Doran Hamm. Will anything ever bring the two wealthiest families in all of England together? The Brimleys and the Grimleys have been feuding for as long as anyone can remember, fighting and shouting and pouting for generations. But now, will Julian Brimley's love for Miriam Grimley bridge the divide? Will the arrival of a powerful Baron Earl heal the wounds of the past? The short answer is no. But come see them fight and shout and pout, anyway! Butlers and Barons, Ladies and Lords, what could possibly be more fun? 100 Flat St., Brattleboro. Tickets at neyt.org.
