Workers' Center to hold health fair

Posted
BRATTLEBORO — On Friday, April 13, the Vermont Workers' Center will host a health fair and community meeting on health care issues accompanied by a free community meal. This event will take place from 5:15 to 8 p.m. at the Centre Congregational Church, 193 Main St.

Blood pressure and blood glucose screenings by registered nurses will be available, as well as other mutual aid and healthcare resources.

Having trouble getting the care you need? Concerned about cuts in services? Questions about healthcare? This meeting will include information and an opportunity to connect with others in the community on the (in)justice of our healthcare system and to discuss how we can make a difference.

Rides, childcare, and ASL interpretation available upon request. All members of the community are welcomed to attend.

For more information contact the Vermont Workers' Center at 802-257-4436 orwindham@workerscenter.org.
