The family of Virginia "Ginny" Howard would like to thank you very much for the cards, flowers, food, and kind expressions of sympathy shown following her passing.
Your support at this difficult time was very much appreciated and of great comfort to all of the family.

Editor of the Reformer:
The Marines of Detachment 798 and the Ladies of the Auxiliary Unit 798, Marine Corps League, report a successful 2016 Toys for Kids campaign. With the assistance of area clubs, organizations, businesses, and many individuals, we once again were able to provide gifts for hundreds of needy kids at Christmas. We were also able to assist other providers with gifts for families on their lists.
Headed up by school nurse Cheryl Bachinski, Hinsdale (N.H.) Elementary School kids came through again with five barrels of toys for those kids less fortunate. We also had toys donated from the 4-H Club from Vernon. Special thanks to WYRY, WTSA and the Brattleboro Reformer for spreading the word and providing remote broadcasts. We worked again this year with Sheriff Keith Clark and his deputies on Project Fill the Humvee which we did in spite of freezing temperature. Thanks to deputy Bret Gaylord for leading the charge and all those who helped make it successful.
Special thanks to the ownership and staff of Automall who came through again with a truck full of toys for the needy families in our area.
Finally, thank you to our Marines, Ladies Auxiliary, and others who helped to make this year's campaign a success through their dedication to Toys for Kids.
Chairman, Toys for Kids campaign, Jan. 6
